...but this is nuts. Woops cut out the mileage, it has 20k

Imagine in 3 years when Abarths get cheap.

Like...damn. This would be a good buy.

They already are! I mean I’ve seen ones hovering around $12k with under 25k miles

that reliability rating is a hell of a thing.

There’s one in my area for $5500 Canadian. That’s about $3 US, right?. http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Fiat/500/Bri…

Makes me question my preference for the 124 Spider over the Miata. I have to imagine the same depreciation will happen tot hat too.

they already are cheap; I find them around the 12-16k mark with little miles

Like sub $7k is cheap for me.

Fair point. But considering it was over $25k new, that much depreciation for that low mileage seems like a bargain to me
![]() 03/16/2016 at 12:17 |

Cheaper, sure - but that one has almost 5x the mileage.
e: and it’s an automatic

Not surprised. It was like $16k car when new. It has been 5 years now. That is standard depreciation. The mileage is pretty low though..

Yeah. For the millage it’s great.
I normally don’t worry about millage until about 170,000 miles.

That’s just over $4k. Yes it’s got close to 100K miles, but that’s cheap! And it’s the loaded model...

Mine was around $16K used...two years ago. It probably should’ve been cheaper but I can’t negotiate (and the used market for them was slim pickings at the time). So far I have no regrets.

I remember they had brand spanking new leftover demo ones for sale for $10,200 cad. The one with the most mileage had 60kms on it.
Because they were being sold essentially as a used car you don’t have to pay for the freight and PDI.

You ain’t kiddin’! I just traded in a cherry 2013 Pop with alloy wheels for $6700, and 38k miles.

That’s crazy. I had no idea they were going for so little up here.
![]() 03/16/2016 at 21:40 |

That’s the kicker, isn’t it?
![]() 03/16/2016 at 21:42 |

For a cheap car, that’s not really that bad for 4-5 years of depreciation.

That was just for the pop model so no A/C for us on those.
